Beautiful

We ordered an urn and a tree. The wrong tree was sent to us but it was corrected, and they sent the correct tree. The company was very easy to work with and apologetic for the mistake made. This is our second time ordering from the Living Urn. Both urns and trees are beautiful and I would highly recommend.

What are the Bonsai Tree options I can purchase with The Living Urn Indoors?

We currently offer six Bonsai Tree choices with your purchase of The Living Urn Indoors. These Bonsai Trees are typically 6 to 10 years old and measure 10” to 15” in height to best fit for your Living Urn Indoors.

The Ficus Retusa, Willow Leaf Ficus, and Braided Money Trees are best suited to be grown indoors or may be placed outside in mild climates (not below 50 degrees F). The Trained Windswept Juniper and Trained Tiered Juniper Trees are best to grow outdoors on a patio.

Where is it best to place The Living Urn Indoors?

The Living Urn Indoors is designed to use either indoors or on a patio, depending on where you prefer to see it. If you keep it indoors, most bonsai trees and plants prefer to be within 2 feet of a window with good sunlight part of the day. You may also consider to purchase a grow light if you prefer to place it further away from a window.

I'm concerned that the Bonsai Tree won't survive - I don't have a green thumb.

Our Bonsai Trees are selected for easy care and low maintenance. Each tree comes with easy to follow care instructions. Your Bonsai Tree will be a strong, mature tree that can be enjoyed for many, many years. That being said, all living things are touched by the cycle of life. In the event your Bonsai Tree or other plant needs to be replaced, it's a very simple process. Alternately, The Living Urn Indoors is also designed to be used as a vase for cut flowers so that you have multiple options for using The Living Urn Indoors as a memorial for your loved one.

How much water does a Bonsai Tree need?

Please refer to the instructions supplied with your Bonsai Tree as the watering will vary depending on the type of Bonsai Tree. Generally speaking, it best not to over water. You may choose to purchase a Water Meter to monitor the moisture of the soil.

Can I order The Living Urn Indoors without the tree?

Yes, you may purchase The Living Urn Indoors and choose your own bonsai tree or any small plant in a standard 4” diameter pot to insert the root ball into The Living Urn Indoors plant container area. You may also choose to place cut flowers in the middle of the urn, or not to grow anything inside and simply use the supplied matching ceramic lid to cover the opening, thereby utilizing our elegant urn to bless your home.

What other plants can I grow in The Living Urn Indoors?

The patented Living Urn Indoors assembly allows you to use any standard 4” diameter planter pot in the center growing area (remove plant from grower’s pot). This can include most houseplants for indoors such as African Violets, Orchids, Golden Pothos, Spider Plant, mini Bamboo, Dracaena, etc. Patio options can include small Ferns, Palms, Lavender, Succulents, Cyclamen or consider your relative’s favorite flower to plant seasonally and keep on the patio. You can also simply remove an older plant carefully and replace with something new over the years, as you choose.

Can I use The Living Urn Indoors to hold cut flowers instead of a tree or plant?

Rather than using a live plant with The Living Urn Indoors, you can use the provided cup insert to hold water and fresh cut flowers. At any time in the future, you can remove the water cup and add your bonsai tree or other live plant.

Is The Living Urn Indoors patented or trademarked?

Yes, The Living Urn Indoors is patented and we have received a trademark from the U.S. Patent Trademark Office.
